Both reading and art can take your imagination on wonderful journeys. This summer, the Nasher invites children who live or go to school in Dallas to create a work of art on a bookmark.
In collaboration with the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club, presented by the Dallas Public Library, the Make Your Mark contest offers participants the chance to design a bookmark inspired by their favorite experiences at the Nasher Sculpture Center.
The contest is open to children in grades 2 – 12 who live within Dallas city limits or who attend a Dallas ISD school. Deadline for entry is August 6, 2016.
One winner per each grade category (2nd – 4th, 5th – 7th, 8th – 12th) will receive a Nasher Sculpture Center gift bag plus a $100 NorthPark Gold Coin, and one Grand Prize winner will receive a $250 NorthPark Gold Coin.
