Artist Circle - Paper into Sculpture
The RPS Research Institute Meeting #2 - Paper Reigns/Rains
December 6, 2017
Artist Circle Paper into Sculpture event on December 6.
In the second of three, the 2017-18 Nasher Artist Circle programming chairs Danielle Avram and Christopher Blay bring you an event in response to Paper into Sculpture.
The RPS Research Institute Meeting #2: Paper Reigns/Rains
The RPS Institute will explore the nature of paper. From simple substrate to coveted object, paper embodies the unique duality of being both a king and a pauper – a vehicle of respectability and regality, and one of the underground, the unspoken, the untraceable.
Founded in 2017, The RPS Research Institute is focused on the search for interconnectivity. We revel in the chaos of creating, the energy of subversion, and the integration of seemingly disparate thoughts, histories, and vocabularies.
