Support the Nasher
By making a donation through the Nasher’s North Texas Giving Day effort, you become part of a powerful movement that aims to make arts education and experiences accessible to all community members, including students, teachers, families, and artists alike. Programming and accessibility initiatives support the Nasher’s dedication to making the museum an engaging atmosphere for visitors of all abilities. We strive to create a sensory-friendly environment where guests can learn about artwork through multi-modal approaches.
Ways your donations impact the Nasher and the Community
- Transportation Scholarships: Stipends provided to schools that need financial support to offset the cost of their transportation to and from the museum. On average, every $250 raised allows one classroom of North Texas students to visit the Nasher.
- Accessibility Initiatives for the visually impaired: Tools will enable visitors with visual impairments to better experience works of art at the Nasher, including 3-D printed models of sculptures, braille content about the Nasher and our collection, and special events for visitors with visual impairments.
- Sensory-Friendly Days: Visitors with sensory processing challenges are able to customize their experience the Nasher with on-site resources and programming intended to engage, nurture, and educate all audiences.
- Artist Microgrant Fund: Individual grants are awarded to five exceptional North Texas artists each year to support their professional and personal development. In presenting these grants, we recognize the great artistic talent in North Texas and the privilege and responsibility we have to support it.
