In celebration of the launch of a student-created zine, the Nasher will host an afternoon featuring music and interactive projects inspired by themes in the work of the 2020 Nasher Prize Laureate Michael Rakowitz.

A public lecture featuring the 2020 Nasher Prize Laureate.

Since his career egain in the late 1990s, Michael Rakowitz's dynamic body of workhas involved intensive research, resulting in an array of objects, environments, films, and publications that seek to reclaim, reposition or refocus complicated aspects of material and cultural histories. At this lecture, ;earn from the 2020 Nasher Prize laureate about his powerful practice. 

Nasher Prize Award Gala

Nasher Prize Laureate Michael Rakowitz will be honored at a black-tie award gala on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Nasher Sculpture Center.
