Beat the Heat with Cool Thursdays at the Nasher
Wednesday, 7.30.14
Visitors are invited to beat the heat in the final month of summer with Cool Thursdays at the Nasher featuring half price admission and a free cookie with entrée in the Nasher Café.
The Nasher Sculpture Center invites everyone to enjoy the final month of summer fun at Cool Thursdays at the Nasher. Every Thursday in August, visitors enjoy half-price admission to the Nasher Sculpture Center with full access to the museum, including special exhibitions Mark Grotjahn Sculpture and Sightings: Bettina Pousttchi (closing August 17). Children will thank Mom for being so cool by giving them the opportunity to greet Matisse and Picasso, meander amid water fountains and bamboo, and experience a drive-thru museum (with no driver’s license required). When it’s refreshment time, the Nasher Cafe by Wolfgang Puck offers a neat view with a kid-approved menu featuring salads or sandwiches for Mom and grilled cheese or peanut butter for the kids. And with every purchased entrée, a free, supersized chocolate chip cookie will be the perfect end to a cool day. To check out the new menu, visit http://www.nashersculpturecenter.org/reserve/cafe.
