Participants will: 

• Learn about careers in the arts from art-world professionals 
• Explore artworks in the Nasher Collection 
• Create hands-on projects focused on artistic process with practicing, professional artists. 
• Exchange ideas with peers also interested in the arts 

An ideal candidate: 

• Shows strong interest in pursuing a college degree or career in art history, studio art, or art education 
• Pursues creative interests outside of school assignments 
• Maintains a positive attitude and works well with others 

Students who have completed 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in 2022 may apply. Tuition for accepted participants is free of charge, and includes art supplies, meals, and a transportation stipend.

Application for this program is March 14 - May 15, 2022. Up to 30 students will be accepted.
