Join us for an in-depth examination of the relationship between image, emotion, place, and time with Santa Fe-based artist Emily Margarit Mason, who will share the resonance between her practice and the work of exhibition artist Sarah Sze. Experiment with the materials Mason uses in her practice to explore how breaking down and reconstructing images can create personal meaning in your own artwork.
This workshop is designed for adults ages 21+. Learn something new, have a bite to eat, and get creative.

About Emily Margarit Mason
Emily Margarit Mason (she/her) is a queer artist whose photography reimagines the perceived natural world from something seen to something felt, exploring how the multifaceted nature of experience might manifest emotionally. She earned her bachelor's degree in photography with a minor in Book Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Baltimore, New York City, Milwaukee, Chicago, Miami, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe. Emily is currently living and working in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
