HopeKids Art Experience Days provides museum tours and interactive art activities for children with life-threatening medical conditions and their families.

This program is a partnership with the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of HopeKids, an organization dedicated to bringing joy and hope to children battling chronic illnesses and their loved ones by providing ongoing events, activities and a powerful support community.

“HopeKids is thrilled to partner with the Nasher Sculpture Center to keep our kids focused on the future instead of dwelling on what they are dealing with in the present,” Heather Weathers, Executive Director of HopeKids North Texas said. “The Art Experience Day is one of our families’ favorite events because many of our HopeKids are unable to participate in athletic activities.  This event surrounds these kids and their families with the tools to express themselves in ways they may not have considered before.”
